So I'm sure I've broken a lot of these but they're a good read nonetheless for anyone's website or blog....
The 21 Worst Things To Have On Your Blog or Website

Finally, someone who agrees with me about Flash! I thought it was cool when it came out, but now it just drives me insane when I'm visiting websites. And the fact that I can't see Flash websites on my phone? Annoying. It is pretty though...
I don't really agree with the "not making people register for comments" thing. I had my blog set up that way and got spammed like CRAZY over the past 6 months. Now I have to make you register. Sorry.
This one cracks me up: Loooong Blog Posts – If it’s going to take forever to say it, break it up. Create a series. It's common sense yet so many people don't abide by this. It's usually those who like to hear themselves "talk."
Just wanted to share this good list with you...

You know what annoys me is most 'popular' bloggers say you shouldn't have a variety of posts. I understand it helps draw in a particular crowd or narrow your audience but if they really care about what you have to say they would check it out. Don't cha think?
I agree! This blog is about my life and my life isn't about one thing. Far from it. I have a couple other blogs that are dedicated to one topic but I much prefer writing here and I'd hope that people who stop by and read my blog are engaged for a moment while they read yet another random post!
Thanks for coming by to visit and leaving me a comment :)
I can understand the problems that come with, for you, not making someone register to comment... But I think that at the same time it makes debate and conversation so much harder to engage. I like being able to respond to something when I have the urge to and while the sentiment is still intact. After ten minutes of verifying my email and coming up with ever more inventive nicknames, I no longer feel what I felt before. It's more of a dulled... haze, really.
I don't like having to sign in to leave comments as well, but when I get 5 comments per day in Chinese or ones that are filled with spammy links, I have chosen to make people sign in as well as moderate comments. It's frustrating but I can't avoid it unfortunately because spammers have ruined it for everyone.
